PART-TIME ADMINISTRATOR POST

* hrs per week

Donore Community Drug & Alcohol Team (DCDAT) is a low threshold
drop-in service supporting individuals and families in the general
area of Donore Avenue, Dublin 8.

We are engaged in health promotion and harm reduction for those
affected by drugs and alcohol. The service is funded by the HSE.
Through the South Inner City Drug & Alcohol Task Force

Services provided include: key working, care planning, case
management, counselling, advocacy, meals, support groups, holistic
therapy (acupuncture, hot stone massage, yoga) and art therapy,
dynamic storytelling, drama, arts and crafts

The successful candidate will be part of a small team and will be
expected to assist with the work of the service generally. Candidates
must have the skills to carry out their particular function, which is
administrative, and be willing to assist the other team members in
their duties.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* To operate the petty cash system
* To enter client data into a database (eCass/Salesforce)
* To deal with all incoming and outgoing correspondence for the
organisation
* To maintain a filing system
* To ensure that all the necessary stationary and other items are in
supply
* To carry out all necessary typing, publishing, spreadsheets and
reports for the organisation as requested by the project coordinator
* Assist with preparations for management board meetings as well as
other events that are organised from time to time
* Assist in keeping the organisation website and Facebook page up to
date and relevant
* Assisting in ensuring that all requirements for Charities
Regulator, Companies Office and Revenue are met

OTHER DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

* Help with the running of the drop-in facility.
* Assist service users with phone calls, letters, making
appointments etc.
* Fill in the day book
* Assist with any activities, events and educational inputs from
time to time
* Attend team meetings, client update meetings and any other
meetings deemed necessary.
* Avail of supervision as appropriate
* Attend staff meetings and other relevant project meetings
* Participate in ongoing planning and evaluation of the work with
the project
* Keep all other relevant records
* Provide written reports as required
* Ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations
* Undertake training as agreed with management and project
co-ordinator
